Thou shall have no other gods or false idols before me. That's from the ten commandments, and its been swept aside as not acceptable in Canada. No? Yes. I bring this up today because I myself have just become aware of this sin, in my own life. Women are great. I adore women, and up till now, I basically worshipped them. I have amassed quite the obsession. But not only sexual, Because ideals change perceptions in relative feilds in your mind's eye. Woman are more than men, in this country. I know this because our woman worship has caused religious foundations to review their policies. It was today though, that clarified this as a problem. God wants you to come to him, when challenged by matters of the heart. Not, accept the whims of the one your heart belongs to. Both partners must be positive and true with eachother at least, if not with everyone. Its not for God to accept your humanly love, it is for you to accept God's Love, and allow this spiritual love to guide you into the loving relationship you don't desire, but, require. When you put the needs of others before your own, God can no longer say, 'you are doing my will'. God loves you more than any one human could, and therefore when you place the needs of another above your own relationship with God, the you are forcing yourself to pledge faith in a imperfect love, over the perfect love of God. We must not allow acceptance to overwhelm our own personal need for God's Love.
