It’s a new Year!

Our Unified Board meeting will be on Wednesday January 2, and F.R.I. will meet on the 3^rd.

January 6^th  there will be a Hymn sing @ 10:45 am,11 am Worship and Sunday School, and a service at Melville Gardens at 2:30pm

January 7^th at 6 for 6:30 will be the Pot Luck Christmas party for the Choirs

Mike Huckabee is a Baptist minister who became a very popular Governor of Arkansas. Huckabee ran for the Republican nomination for President back in 2008. He currently works for Fox News in the USA. On Monday, Mike Huckabee said Americans should not be surprised at the tragedy of the school shooting in Newtown Connecticut because "we have systematically removed God from our schools."

My Message for Christmas Eve.

Christmas Eve Message, 2012

A young man had a dream.  In his dream he was holding a candle and he was surrounded by darkness.  Jesus lit his candle and sent him into the darkness.  After a little while, his candle went out and he had to go back to Jesus to light his candle.  This happened several times.  He started to apologize to Jesus for not keeping his candle lit.  Jesus said, "Please see that each time you were able to go a little farther into the darkness before your candle went out."
