It isn't completly finished, as some parts need some words change to make it flow better)
There was a time when I once knew where I lived
It was a humble home but big enough for all
It was filled with all our people and we gave to one another, all we had and all we knew; Cause thats what pulled us through
We never turned our backs on those that stumbled towards the door
Instead we'd all lay before them and our bodies would cushion the fall.
And the ones that did go away, we'd let them know that they could always come again and stay
We'd ensure that their packs were filled with all the things of love
I've now come back to the house where I once lived
I can see it there at the end of the street
What happend to the landscape, the bushes have all over grown
The windows look broken and the curtains have been torn
Theres a child on the door step with tears in their eyes
"Whats wrong there little one and what happend to our home?"
(Child responds)
"A stanger came one day who called himself hate.
He took the love we had and he turned it into rage"
I offered up my hand and they took it on faith
I lead that child back inside and promised this would change
As we began to repair the damage I told the child this...
(Talking, not singing part)
Sometimes we may fall from grace and that is okay, cause you see this house is still standing and can always be home for all of humanity
As long as you wish it, it will be
For divided we may fall
but united we shall stand up and be made whole.

Its missing one part. Faith. The God the wrecked the house, is the same God that would help it steady a stronger foundation.
The child hand in mine, I look steady into its eyes, and I say, The stone of this foundation will be steady by our knowledge, Love is not a shared trait in full. Some only give, and some only give to take. Here's a shovel, Bleed it out.'
this is so much fun, but i gotta go to work-o.

Actually I am saying that man wrecked the house cause they fell from grace and let hate into their heart, kind of like Eve letting the snake convince her into eating the apple.
But that God is still there if you look for him and if you have the courage, you then can bring him back into your line of sight cause he is still there waiting for you to pick up your faith again and restore it again kind of thing.
'The singer is but a human, yet at the same time they are God when they encounter the child. We are all the human, the God and the child at different times in our life journey.
Thanks for the comments though Chris.
