I'm figuring that some of you wise folks have been through either losing your drivers license or supporting someone through the loss.
I recognize that there are likely significant differences in access to resources and also impact depending on where one lives and your living arrangements.
I wonder if you can help me gather some of the possibilities..ie, side benefits.
Someone very close to me has decided to undergo surgery to improve appearance. And I'm totally struggling with the message and meaning behind that choice. To an extent, it's not my business - and I've not voiced my opinion to this person. But then again, it's hard to pretend it hasn't happened and I'm not sure how to explain it to my two young girls...

I guess this is social. I can't think of where else to put it.
Years ago, supermarkets sold something called blue steak. This was steak that had aged (rotted) a proper time so that it actually became somewhat blue. And it was delicious. I understand that such sale is now illegal.
It is possible to age steak on your own? If so, where, how and for how long?
If you are talking to someone, and they say, "i can't find the phone" and they talk about looking for it, and then..they go "oh...wait..i'm talking on it"...should you be concerned?
What about if they do it more than once...ie two phone calls in approx 2 weeks, the same action happens...state they are looking for a phone, then realize, they are talking on it.
Does it make a difference if I tell you they are over 80?
