In Matthew 13, Jesus explains the parable  of weeds among the wheat  to the disciples.

sower - Jesus

field - world

good seed- children of the Kingdom

weeds - children of the evil one

enemy - devil

harvest - rapture

reapers - angels

furnace of fire -all causes of sin and all evil-doers.

Is this the take on this parable by the writer?

Did Jesus really say this?

Angels are they for real or just mythical creatures that exist in stories to teach moral lessons?

Are they the cartoon helpful, benevolent creatures that tarot readers make them out to be?

Do they fight God's wars and kill people for God?

Or does God send them to earth for messages?  And if that is the case why did God stop talking to humanity after Jesus' birth was told to Joseph?

So...who is a fan?  Who has seen all of season 4?  Who want's to speculate? :D

 Before I start, I'd like to say that I am a Christian by family and church, however my beliefs stray from those of Christians and Catholics. If perhaps I was given the opportunity to change my religion, I would.

Now, let me explain what I believe about Good and Evil, and then I would ask you to share your own beliefs of the subject.

There are indeed grand concepts in this Universe, such as Good and Evil. It is a great misconception, however, that people think so narrowly of the whole idea. When a person thinks about demons, immediately they think of evil. 

Does anyone want to comment on  this passage " Those who are ashamed of me and of my words in this adultrous and sinful generation, of them the Son of Man will also be ashamed when he comes in the glory of his Father with the holy angels" Verse 38 NRSV

Any help will be appreciated.
