As a parent, I have wondered, are we making the right choices.

It can be to work or not work outside of thehome. To send them to camp or not. To buy them this or that, to allow them choices or freedom.

I am still fumbling along with the scriptures for July, David and the Ark and Herod killing John the Baptist. I see that both left God out of their choices. David danced - half naked, not caring about how others ( and God) might feel about his exuberance and Herod had John beheaded even though Herod was kind of in awe of John and his message. Herod made a choice that was against his better judgement ( and God's).

Soooo, what choices do we make today without any thought of God and what God wants us to do? or do we even think about it?

So my boyfriend and I are considering joining a church but we would like to buy a bible before we start attending. Through my searches I've found that finding the right one is darned near impossible.

So which bible do you use and why?
