Our new puppy is 4 months old now and we are in Puppy Kindergarten.

With our first dog, I don't think they did this and our second and third dogs arrived a bit older so this is our first time at puppy class.

What have you learned from your dogs that applies to your kids?

I recently purchased a Turkish Tabriz rug on kijiji believing the relatively low price was due to the fact that it was synthetic vs wool.  It was the perfect size, colours -- lovely.  The seller said it had just been cleaned and was made without using child labour. 

Be nice to others because...

I went for my last walk in a local park today because of the almost complete lack of responsible dog owners.  My mother, son and I got jumped on by dirty dogs no less than three separate times by dogs that were completely out of control and unresponsive the the owners commands.  The law in our city is that dogs must be under control at all times, even in off leash areas but if you say something to these ignorant people they just say it is an off leash area.
