Well I have recently met probably the most amazing person ever.  His name is Feroz and he is a Muslim.  He lives in my town.  He isn't just any Muslim though, he is one of the most learned Muslims...like...ever.  He has permission from all 7 of the major Sufi orders to teach their ways (he is one of only 2 people  in the past half century to achieve this), he has worked with the Prime Minister, done Akido training for CSIS, and has an incredible intellect.

my dear two roomates, God bless them, are hard-nosed, ultra-conservative, fire and brimstone christians who belong to the (I AM NOT EXAGGERATING: slightly fascist) organization known as my university's chapter of Campus for Christ.

they both think the UCC is a tiny, crazy, liberal organization that practically does not qualify as Christian.

I'm curious to know everyone's level of education and their degree (if applicable).

Hey guys. I'm new and I really need guidance. I'm not sure exactly where to start but please listen because I kind of need...I don't know, advice, prayer, whatever you got.

My youngest is now in Grade 12 and we are on that long road to University.

The choices are immense when you don't have a definate career in mind.

We did the Queens' open house this Saturday and we are touring McGill on Friday.

But it's tiring and frustrating.

She is a dancer and so is going to try for "gold" at Juilliard too but that is a long shot.

Any suggestions on how to differentiate the various programs would be greatly appreciated.

Well, the time draws near, little ol' me will be graduating and am looking into university.  Now, unfortunately because the internet hates me I find what I want on say...the U of A site, then I can't find it again.  So I have no real clue as to what courses U of A, or other albertan universities have to offer...

At one point I saw Islamic Studies, which really piqued my interest.  I want to take Philosophy, Theology (religion), Islamic Studies (if I can find it again...lol), and perhaps Political Sciences.
