In 2006, Alsfeldt will celebrate 155 years of faithfully serving God. Always part of a multi-point charge when the Evangelical United Brethren Church joined The United Church of Canada, we became a two point pastoral charge with Knox United Clifford. When you join us for worship you will be welcomed by greeters and our minister. Pew packs keep younger children busy as worship begins. Most Sundays the children attend Sunday School, after spending time sharing good news and talking with our minister. On communion Sundays the children remain with us through worship. Everyone old and young, members and guests are welcome to share in communion. Journey with us as we seek to know God more fully.

About the Service

Worship with us on Sundays at 9:45 a.m. For special services we worship with our sister congregation Knox United in Clifford or they join us.

About the Neighbourhood

Alsfeldt United Church

Church Minister

Heather Leffler

Heather and her family moved to Clifford in 1999. The congregation has enjoyed watching her daughters Sarah, Helen and Lisa finish high school and start their life adventures at university and college. Heather's husband John enjoys the Clifford area and the annual battle between the Montreal Canadiens and the Toronto Maple Leafs. Heather brings her friendly, bubbly personality to her sermons every Sunday. She relates to people of all ages with her engaging smile and lively discussions. Heather is very welcoming to everyone and encourages us to grow in our relationship with God and each other. Her enthusiastic nature enables our congregation to reach out to the community with new ideas and 'outside the box' thinking. Heather welcomes opportunities to celebrate weddings, baptisims, memberships and funerals for everyone in the community of God. Visit our church to experience the fun-loving gift of Heather. M. Loughran.
