Belmont United Church is one of three churches in the village of Belmont which is located 5 minutes south of Highway 401, just southeast of London, Ontario, Canada. We are part of the Belmont-Harrietsville-Mossley Pastoral Charge with our sister church Harrietsville-Mossley United Church on Elgin Road in Harrietsville, Ontario. Belmont United Church celebrated its 155th Anniversary in the fall of 2008 and is looking forward to celebrating its 160th in 2013. Its congregational membership is strong and vibrant, and we are looking forward to an even brighter future. Our church is served by an Executive Council with several committees serving under it - Worship and Pastoral Care, Communication and Outreach, Property, Manse, and Christian Education.

About the Service

Our children remain as part of the congregation during the main service beginning at 10:45 a.m. and enjoy a story time with the Minister before going to classes or supervised nursery.

About the Neighbourhood

Belmont is a small, but growing community-minded village surrounded by lush farmland. Villagers enjoy many of the amenities of a larger centre - grocery store, library, sports teams, parks and service clubs, and is only 20 minutes from either the City of St. Thomas or the City of London for access to movie theatres, hospitals and shopping malls.
