Dunbar Heights was established in 1922 and has served the changing community since. Worship is joyful, inclusive and inspiring; music reflects and deepens worship and congregational singing energetic. Our church has two ministry staff, Rev. Michelle Slater and Staff Associate, Cathy Cryder who ministers to children, youth and families. Programs for children and youth include Godly Play in ever-growing Sunday classes as well as three lively mid-week gatherings: grades 5-7, grades 8-10 and 11-12. Bible study, opportunities for spiritual growth and outreach activities are important parts of congregational life. This is an active church!

About the Service

10:00-11:15 every Sunday morning; Nursery care for infants and toddlers; Godly Play for all other children and youth.

About the Neighbourhood

Dunbar Heights is an established and stable neighbourhood in central Vancouver. The neighbourhood is changing as families with young children move into the area. Many of these have become DHUC members. There is an elementary school one block from the church and other schools nearby; shops, restaurants and an active community centre are located close by.
