Fairlawn is a dynamic and inclusive community of faith for a just and sustainable world.

We are a welcoming congregation in North Toronto with approximately 400 families in our church. Fairlawn is a vibrant community with a rich faith tradition and inspiring worship services. We are well known for our excellent choirs under the guidance of world reknowned music director, Eleanor Daley. Fairlawn runs a lively Sunday school program for children of all ages -- including an active Youth Group with our Youth minister, Dona Slater-Blight.

Our congregation is involved in community support, social justice and environmental protection. We have a strong outreach program supporting over 25 community groups. Our Social Justice committee sponsors $2.5 million in affordable housing projects including the Regent Park redevelopment, Parkdale Green Phoenix, and Fred Victor Centre. Our Fairlawn Green Action program promotes green living and partners with Greening Sacred Spaces and the United Church's Green Awakening Network.

Fairlawn is very active in the local community through our social events, Adult Education programs, seminars and workshops on social justice and green action, our extremely active Fairlawn Neighbourhood Centre, and through the publication of our quarterly newspaper called Community Life.  Our facility provides a home for Amnesty International Group 65, a pre-school group, Brownies, Guides, Cubs, Mumnet and others. We conduct all marriage ceremonies recognized by Canadian law, as well as baptisms and funerals.
