Grace Methodist Church was the first church in Saskatoon and was founded in 1882. The current property the church occupies was purchased in 1884. The first building was erected in 1892 and the entire community worshipped together until the boom began in the 1900's and other denominations built their own places of worship. Grace United Church amalgamated with neighbouring Westminster United Church in 1968 and changed their name to Grace-Westminster United Church. We have a proud history of serving for over 125 years as a continuous faith community in Saskatoon.The congregation is currently composed of 312 families with an active Sunday School, youth and music program.
About the Service
Worship Service and Sunday School are at 10:30 a.m. with a Contemporary Worship Service held on the first Sunday of the month from October to May.
About the Neighbourhood
The Church is located in the Broadway district and is actively involved in providing space for a variety of community groups and hosts numerous 12 step groups.

Wondercafe has coffee and tea available and an opportunity to visit.
What music is played during services?
Some organ and piano during traditional Sunday services and our worship band Sanctuary Much plays for Contemporary services. Choirs: Sanctuary, Mens Choir, Junior and Handbell.
How do people dress for service?
Some a little dressy, most casual.
What happens after the service?
Coffee, tea and cookies in the auditorium for those who want to stick around and chat, and occasionally a meal together.
