Grace Methodist Church was the first church in Saskatoon and was founded in 1882. The current property the church occupies was purchased in 1884. The first building was erected in 1892 and the entire community worshipped together until the boom began in the 1900's and other denominations built their own places of worship. Grace United Church amalgamated with neighbouring Westminster United Church in 1968 and changed their name to Grace-Westminster United Church. We have a proud history of serving for over 125 years as a continuous faith community in Saskatoon. The congregation is currently composed of 312 families with an active Sunday School, youth and music program.
Worship Service and Sunday School are at 10:30 a.m. with a Contemporary Worship Service held on the first Sunday of the month from October to May.
The Church is located in the Broadway district and is actively involved in providing space for a variety of community groups and hosts numerous 12 step groups.
