Holden United is an original congregation of the United Church, joining upon union in 1925. Members are mostly local farming families coming from the Holden and Ryley regions. The congregation maintains a small Sunday School class with three dedicated teachers. There is a women's group (UCW) that meets monthly. Adult Christian education is typically offered during the Lenten season. The church celebrated their centennial anniversary in July 2010 with a special service and community dinner. The church is small but beautiful and well maintained. The sanctuary is traditional looking with wooden pews and is decorated with stain-glass windows, banners and liturgical furniture.
Our Sunday morning services are at 9:00am with Sunday School. Communion is served once a month, typically on the first Sunday.
