The present building was dedicated in 1966, but is an amalgamation of the former John Street United (on this location) and the nearby All People's United Churches.

Spectaular stained glass windows are the focal point of our spacious sanctuary and large chancel, but it is the families who attend our church and the wider community that are the focus of our mission.

About the Service

Sunday 11:00 am, includes Church School. A traditional service with contemporary elements, and a thought-provoking sermon.

About the Neighbourhood

An older, working-class neighbourhood, "Steelton" was once a thriving community within the City of Sault Ste Marie. Shifting demographics have resulted in empty storefronts nearby, but the area retains a certain vitality. Homes are smaller versions of the Edwardian-style 1-½- & 2-storey homes common in the more affluent areas of the City, but are well-kept and lend a 'homey' feeling to the neighbourhood.
