O.K.Falls United is a tiny, quaint church in the centre of O.K. Falls, B.C. (at the south end of Skaha Lake). It is affectionately known as the "blasted" church. The congregation is small, welcoming, open-minded, and we love to meet together for coffee and treats after our services. Our mission statement: To grow in faith, to share our talents with others and to be a faith community where our spirits are nurtured, where all are welcome, and to make a positive difference in the lives of our church community and the world by using our talents.

About the Service

We meet Sundays from 10am -11am. Join us for a variety of speakers. Children welcome. We enjoy good music, and follow the lectionary for our Sunday topics.

About the Neighbourhood

We live in a rural community just south of Penticton, B.C. There is a lot of agriculture including orchards and vineyards surrounding the community and a beautiful lake at it's north end. Basic services are available such as grocery shopping and novelty stores.

Quick Facts

Who do I contact with questions?

Contact the office at 250-497-7935. We will return your call since we don't have any office personel.

What music is played during services?

We have a talented pianist who plays on Sundays. We generally use hymns/songs from More Voices and Voices United.

What's heavenly about your church?

I guess the answer to that is that we are a very welcoming church. Most visitors that come in make the comment that we are so friendly.

How do people dress for service?

Come as you are! Some people come dressed up while others come in jeans and a t-shirt. It really doesn't matter.

What happens after the service?

We usually have a member hosted "coffee hour" which is a gathering and social time for visiting, coffee, tea, juice and goodies. Sometimes we have a potluck lunch and once or twice a year we combine our coffee time with St. Barbara's Anglican church
