About the Service

Regular services are Sunday mornings at 11:15 a.m.  Sunday School for children is held in the basement during church time, except in July and August.

Plainville United is part of Cold Springs Pastoral Charge,  three churches sharing resources.  There are times when combined services are held at 10:00 a.m. at one of the three churches.  The other churches are Camborne United and St. Paul's United in Cold Springs, on Burnham Street north of Cobourg.  Check the News & Events section for special services that would impact on Plainville United Church's regular service time.

 

About the Neighbourhood

Plainville United is located on a country road surrounded by well-kept farms.  The church is approx. 1 km west of the village of Plainville, and draws families from the rural community.

Who do I contact with questions?

Contact Dorothy at the church office (905-342-5251). Office hours are Wed 9 - 12 and Thurs 9 - 12. If calling outside of office hours, please leave a message.

What happens after the service?

The first Sunday of each month we meet at 11:00 a.m. for a hymn sing before the service and after the service we meet for refreshments and fellowship in the basement. Donations for Fare Share Food Bank are welcome.
