Riverside United Church consists of a multi-use sanctuary which seats up to 300 people used for worship services, church dinners and other functions. The church has several large meeting rooms, some of which house the Riverside Park Nursery School, and a two-room portable. A Sunday School program is offered during worship. Riverside United has a full-time Minister, a Music Director, an Office Administrator and a part-time Children and Youth Co-ordinator. The Church building is a shared facility with the Anglican Church of the Resurrection since its construction in 1969. This partnership works extremely well and joint services are held at Christmas, Easter and occasionally during the year.
Regular Sunday worship service is at 11:00 a.m. During July and August, worship is held jointly with the Anglican Church of the Resurrection at 09:30 a.m.
Riverside United Church is located on the east side of Riverside Drive just south of Walkley Road at the south end of Mooney's Bay. The Church has a large parking lot with plenty of green space surrounding it.
Rev Dillman, a Maritimer from Dartmouth, N.S., served for 17 years in ministry in three pastoral charges in the Saskatchewan Conference. Paul accepted a call to ministry at Riverside United and moved to Ottawa in July, 2003. Paul is married and has three children.
