St. James is a family church with excellent facilities and programs for all ages, including Sunday School, Scouting, voice and handbell choirs, Bible studies, Food Bank, volleyball, and many interest groups. We provide child care during church service on Sundays at 10.00 am. In addition to the church itself, there is a two-story hall containing a gymnasium with a stage, meeting and Sunday School rooms, a nursery, and an extensive kitchen. These facilities are available at no or nominal cost to local community groups and charities.

About the Service

Mainly traditional worship, but experimenting with contemporary style. There are evening services during the Christmas season and a sunrise service on Easter morning.

About the Neighbourhood

We are located in downtown Dartmouth at the corner of Portland Street and Prince Albert Road. In this urban neighbourhood, we draw a wide variety of people from near and far.
