St. Paul's United Church [Perth]

The beautiful old stone building, surrounded by more contemporary structures fronted with brick and glass, is perhaps symbolic of the nature of St. Paul's.

The central building is for worship, and the life of this Congregation centres in the worship of God week by week. Surrounding this worship are a wide range of activities happening in the wings of the building and designed to promote the Christian lives of people.

Worship in St. Paul’s has a solid traditional structure in keeping with the old stone sanctuary, yet it can also be innovative; its language is contemporary, its preaching is concerned with the practical issues people must live with today, and music plays an important role in the worship life of this congregation.

St. Paul's is located in Perth Ontario, a town that has won awards and acclaim for the stewardship of its heritage and old stone buildings. Located within the beautiful Rideau Lakes system, Perth is still less than an hour from Ottawa and Kingston. Church Minister

Rev. Allison Davis & Rev Whit Strong

On July 1, 2007 St. Paul's welcomed our new ministerial team. Rev. Allison Davis will be our Minister of Christian Family and Rev. Whit Strong will be our Minister of Worship. Whit comes to Perth after 16 years working in a team ministry at City View United Church in Ottawa (Nepean) and Allison will return to Perth from the Maritimes where she was most recently an Interim Minister at Stairs Memorial United Church in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. We are excited that the new ministerial team has joined our St. Paul's family.
