Study Group A New Kind of Christian – continues until Easter:  March 13, 20 and 27 @ 3:00pm.

St. Patrick’s Day Tea, - Friday, March 16^th from 2 to 4 P.M. If you can help with the tea, please call Shirley. Baked goods for the Bake Sale are welcome and any extra plastic bags. Everyone welcome.

St. Andrew’s UCW meeting is Thursday March 15^th @ 1:30 pm. We meet on the 3^rd Thursday of every month @ 1:30pm.  April meeting is on the 19^th. All are welcome.

Modified Board Meeting – March 18^th @ 7:00 pm.

2012 South Alberta United Church Youth Rally – Friday, March 30^th – Sunday, April 1^st at Knox United Church in Taber – for Youth from Grades 6 – 12. Registration sheet is posted on the Bulletin Board.   Please register on-line.

Campus Care Packages– Once again our congregation is preparing to send out “Campus Care” packages to our students who are away from home attending post-secondary educational institutions.  This project started as an outreach to our youth to let them know we are supporting their efforts and help remind them that they are not alone….they are always in our thoughts and prayers.  It is out hope that they will enjoy this little “taste of home” and it might help make their final exams a little easier with the knowledge that we are all cheering them along from back at St. Andrew’s. 

We appreciate any donations given to the Care packages as we have 24 students to receive care packages this year.   There is a box in the Narthex for snacks or if you wish to give money towards the packages contact Gail.  Snacks are: Power Bars, Trail Mix, Nuts, Gift Cards –Tim Horton or Starbucks (give to committee), Fruit Snacks, Thinsations, Bits & Bites, Drinks –Hot chocolate, Apple Cider, Juice Boxes.
Please write your name on the donation sheet beside what you have given as we send each student an inspirational verse and the list of names of all the people who donated.
The committee will be packing up parcels on April 3 for delivery.

Celebrate the grace of God in reaching out to us at Easter time
Palm Sunday Service with Communion. Sunday, April 1^st – 10:30am.
The Sunday school children will be doing the service.

Good Friday Service – April 6^th - 10:30 a.m.- Prayers, music and a
dramatic reading of Christ’s Passion.

Easter Service of Celebration –Sunday April 8^th – 10:30am. –Hallelujah Christ
is Risen.
Refreshments follow each service. All are welcome.

Spring Rummage Sale –April 17^th & 18^th We are accepting clothing and articles for sale anytime. Please contact a UCW member or the church if you have some articles to drop off and we will set up a time for them to be delivered.
April 16^th – Monday –Set-up starting at 9:00am.
April 17^th – Tuesday Sale from 9:00 am. to 6:00 pm.
April 18^th – Wednesday Sale from 9:00 am. to 5:00 pm. – packing up after 5:00 pm.
If you can help on any of these days there will be sign-up sheets at the church or contact Shirley

Prayer Shawl Ministry Ladies meet every Wednesday from 9:30 am. – Noon  All are welcome. Come and join us with your needle work or just for fellowship.

Choir and Bells meet every Wednesday evening. Bells @ 7:00pm – Choir @ 7:30pm. We are always looking for new voices or ringers so please feel welcome to join us.

Pastoral Care Team plan on doing a phone out in May and will let us know of any special coming events.  Next Pastoral Care Team meeting is April 15 after refreshment time.

Congregational Enrichment Team meeting – April 17^th @ 10:30am.

Bow Island 100^th Anniversary Ecumenical Service planning meeting April 24 @ Lutheran Church @ 7:00pm.

Scrap Booking – April 26^th at 1:00pm. Come and help us record our heritage.
