Sydenham Street United Church is an historic downtown congregation affiliated with The United Church of Canada. We invite you to join us on your spiritual journey. Here you will find that spiritual life, music, the arts, social justice and outreach are high priorities. We are situated in downtown Kingston and near Queen's University. There are many historic houses and bed and breakfasts nearby and it is only a short walk to Lake Ontario.

"Open and Affirming" means that we at Sydenham Street have publicly declared that people of all "sexual orientations" are welcome in our full life and ministry

Outreach is a priority.

As the rainbow on the front sign suggests, Sydenham Street has a long tradition of openness, acceptance, and community service. For many years it has provided space to many community groups.

Sydenham Street United Church~Heritage Venue

In recent years the congregation has opened its doors to the community and supported the use of its beautiful Sanctuary for concerts and other special events.
