Webster's Whonnock United Church is a new creation, formed when Webster's Corners and Whonnock United Churches amalgamated on July 1, 2010. These dedicated churches have served their respective neighbourhoods for 98 and 96 years respectively. Our mission is: "United in God, with the teachings of Jesus Christ, we will be a caring congregation that is thriving, vital to our community, alive, sustainable, and vibrant."
The coffee is ready to share at 10:00. At 10:20 worshippers may bring their coffee to the sanctuary to sing some favourite hymns. Our 10:30 service is intergenerational. All are welcome for fellowship after service.
The neighbourhood west of Webster's Corners is suburban, while the are to the east is more rural.
Heather was recognized as a Designated Lay Minister in May 2009. She has been married for more than 30 years and raised three children. Her personal creed is "God is my strength and my song." (Is 12:2) After spending a week with colleagues recently she has made it her personal mission to "sow promise to grow leaders" in whatever way she can.
