My avatar is of the 10th Dr Who and his sonic screwdriver from the longest running science fiction series ever.  The original series ran from 1963-1989.  I'd have to say that so far he is my favorite Dr and I've seen every single one of them, I used to watch the series on PBS when I was younger and it was brought back a few years ago on CBC (produced by the BBC and CBC). 

I absolutely love the Dr.  he is just the most amazing character.  He is a Time Lord from Galifrey who travels through time and space  in his TARDIS which looks like an old fashioned British police phone box and is bigger on the inside than the outside.  He is never alone as he picks up assistants or travelling companions.  In the new series he is the last Time Lord, the others having died in a galactic war.  Also he seems much more emotional or have more in depth emotional attachments to his companions which gives the new series a fullness that I don't think the old one had.  Anyway, I'm a huge fan and I think I'll keep this one for awhile.

My avatar is a picture of me. I find it's much easier to talk to and remember if you can see their face. Even if it is just a picture of it.

My avatar is a picture of Kinuseo Falls near Tumbler Ridge, BC. It is a beautiful spot. I have not been there since I took this picture. I understand all the green trees are now red from the Mountain Pine Beetle. That is very sad.

My avatar is me about age five behind my grandfather's garage in montreal. I remember the boots well. I wore them for several years until my feet simply rebelled.

Mine is a picture of Pascal, the boy from the 1956 short film Le ballon rouge (the red balloon).  If you recall he spent much of the film chasing a beautiful red balloon through the streets of Paris (symbolic of our lives??). 

I saw this film for the first time as a boy; likely on TV Ontario at Elementary School (we had just got free Cable Access in the schools in the early 1970's). I loved the film then, it made me want to daydream.

I like the pic better than the tree - although I did really like the tree!  How brave - I'm not brave enough to use a photo of myself yet - I guess I strill prefer the anonymity.

i'm not into the numerology thing either, but, i've read your posts and thought "wow, that's so much him" *lol*  thought i should include it.  it was included on the same page as the meaning of your name.  an eccentric avatar could actually be alot of fun!  or something philosophical perhaps.

I don't really know why I picked it but i just have a thing for balloons, multi-coloured balloons, they just look cool :)

My avatar are camels because they are my favorite animals.  Don't know why but hey they are.  I also found out a little while ago that I rely on people's avatars way more than their names.  When you change your avatars it completely throws me - I don't know who you are! LOL  E.

My new avatar is Apollo the fiesty silver bengal. He is in one of his favourite spots...at the top of the cupboards. Doesn't he look handsome? Don't let those angelic eyes and whiskers fool you. He has a very strong saucy side!
