There seems to eb much division and confusion among unbelievers in regards to the truths of Christianity and believing Christians.
after Christ was crucified was the Spirit given to all?
what teachings in the Gospels can we explore which speak to this?
how does being a believer relate to ones understanding of the Gospels?
how does being a unbeliever relate to ones understanding of the Gospels?
why do some unbelievers think they can consider believers they look into the Gospels in a more indepth manner?
is it they look at them in a worldy view?
37 On the last and greatest day of the festival, Jesus stood and said in a loud voice, “Let anyone who is thirsty come to me and drink. 38 Whoever believes in me, as Scripture has said, rivers of living water will flow from within them.”[c] 39 By this he meant the Spirit, whom those who believed in him were later to receive. Up to that time the Spirit had not been given, since Jesus had not yet been glorified. (John 7:37-39)
15 “If you love me, keep my commands. 16 And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another advocate to help you and be with you forever— 17 the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be[c] in you. 18 I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you. (John 14:15-18)
