Canada is an interesting place; the rest of the world thinks so, even if Canadians don't.

Hmmm ...

When I saw the heading, insulin was the first thing I thought of ...

If I remember correctly, pablum was developed for the Dionne Quintuplets ...

I wonder what was special about the Wonderbra at that time to make that particular over the shoulder boulder holder revolutionary ...

And I'm guessing that a few items were included on this list just to show diversity - because I mean really - retractable beer carton handle on the same list with things like insulin, telephone, pacemaker?

Very interesting list - makes me want to go read up on the history of some of these items.

And they taste like it.

I believe the screw driver that holds its selection of bits in its handle is a Canadian invention.

The collapsible baby bottle which made burping obsolete was invented by a quebecker, who made the first one out of a contraceptive.

Punkins, remember this is Canada, anything to do with beer or coffee is of national importance ;-)

I was particularly proud of the electric wheelchair.

I was the last one left after the nuclear holocaust, eh. .... So's I spent most of my time looking for beer.

LOL @ lb!

But surely, we must have done something a little more transcending with beer than a retractable carton handle?

In 1920, a man of last name Carteledge invented the JOCK STRAP. Perhaps not much interest to some of our population, but certainly to those of the male orientation and persuasion who participate in contact sports. In Canada, "The Cup" refers to more than Lord Stanley's bloated trophy.
