Emerging conversation

Hi, Here was the beginning of a conversation, and I didn't react. <;-{ So, let's try again and see if the "fish" will bite today! I have noted before that it is often difficult to hit a catchy topic. Johnko however is giving it a shot and the least I can do is --- reciprocate.

Pointedly, Johnko asks what the attributes of a church are today.

My response, the attributes of a church (at any time) ought to reflect in reality the statements the congregation makes in "house". i.e.  If they profess to be non-violent, than that should be obvious to the general public, etc.

Let's see if this gets folks involved.

Shalom.

future of church

To be relevant, vibrant, and meannigfull, what would be the attributes of  a the church  today?

Three in one!

The name (word) Trinity has a very definite meaning for the people of the Christian faith.

The question: Should this name be retained or has its time come for it to be replaced, and if so, how?

For those who recognize the moderator, please play along and return a short reply. This is an effort by folks of the Westminster UC in Thunder Bay to expand its outreach.

Shalom.
