Am I just too strange for most people?

Since my sister has been ill, I have been getting to know more lay people in my congregation, and I am realizing how different I really am. Last year I was officially diagnosed with PDD-NOS a condition in the autism spectrum. Very little is known about Autism.

Here is a good story from Christian Educator's Guide to Creating Classes Where Everyone Belongs.

 

"A courageous young couple had adopted a badly abused child. Tommy was 5 but could say only two words, “car” and “bye-bye.” Easter Sunday dawned with all the Sunday school gathered for the annual pageant. Every child would have a line to say.

It's a Cafe and Its a Church and It's an Aritst Performance Space

Check out this video. It's about a church the Salation Army has opened in Hamilton to attract people under 35.

Looks like a good idea to me.
