On another thread someone has posted that churches offer grace. Wil someone explain how churches do this?

At Cancun this past week, the ecumenical community represented churches from far and wide while global leaders battled out policy and negotiations.

But why were they there?  What's the point of them getting involved?

To not to derail a thread in Relationships titled Pastoral Intimacy, I am revisting a thread in archives for people to discuss.

There have been some cases in Canada. Each news cast shows how quickly this is spreading across the world.

When would the church act if this virus escalates in Canada?

Shaking hands at door ; serving and taking communion ; babycare? Would the church wait for a directive from the Govenmemt and the Department of Health? Or would each congregation make their own decision?

The final thing that I hear that churches would do is close churches for worship if there was a directive not to have public assemblies.

Okay.  I am not that thick I know we are in a recession and probably people are tithing less.  I know that repairs cost more.   I know that utilities and food have gone up significantly.

I have been watching some Churches for awhile not for any particularreason but this is what noticed:
