What's your tradition for Christmas dinner? Do you have a huge get together or is it pretty small? Is anyone cooking a turkey this year for the first time?
I guess this is social. I can't think of where else to put it.
Years ago, supermarkets sold something called blue steak. This was steak that had aged (rotted) a proper time so that it actually became somewhat blue. And it was delicious. I understand that such sale is now illegal.
It is possible to age steak on your own? If so, where, how and for how long?
So I am trying something new today. I am cooking a ham. I found my biggest pot. Which is actually a roaster and the ham still does not fit in in all the way. Now the roaster is on the burner on maximum. I also put the lid on. I googled how to cook the ham. Maybe having five kids is making me more domestic or something. This weekend is Serena's Daycare part 4. Or maybe it is spending more time in the kitchen so I can multitask more in the kitchen...
Last year I took a trip to Quebec, and everyone put maple syrup in their milk. It was very yummy. I was pondering on the bible, and God says "the land of milk and honey," So I was like "OHMYGOODNESS! LET'S TRY MILK AND HONEY TOGETHER!!!" it's delicious. So I'm wondering, is there other any "recipies" in the bible? I'm looking for more Jesus food, and I'd love some help in finding it!
