I just listened to this speech by JK Rowling given to Harvard graduates in 2008 and posted by TED in January, 2010. My daughter found it somehow. Her message is as challenging as most any sermon I have heard, and her delivery offers insights into connecting with people today. Her message frames some questions important to our faith stances on a variety of issues. I hope any who choose to view it enjoy it at least 1/2 as much as I did.
In the thread on The Shack, several people have admitted their fascination/trouble with how the three persons of the Trinity are presented. So here's an imaginative challenge: if you were to represent the Trinity as three characters in a novel, who would it be? and why is this image healing/holy/transformative/salvific?
