I'm not sure if this has been brought up before as a subject. It's been a while since I've been on here regularly but I was just reading another post which brought this question to my mind that I've thought of before.
When we say "I will pray or I will be praying for you.. or, you are in my prayers", do you say it and actually do it, and continue to do so until you hear some sort of outcome? Or are you just providing comforting words for the moment?
I'm not one to pray much. Or, to be honest, at all. I follow prayer in service, and bow my head for grace, but I don't do much more than that. I mean, there are occasional moments when I'll make a conversational comment to God (like "Ooh, nice one there!"), but I have never understood nor been satisfied with what most people see as a necessary part of being a Christian.
