I'm a bilingual hobby writer; English and German, that is. I've written a historical/spiritual novel in both languages--with the German version published, and the English version now being offered to publishers. Now I'm working on a futuristic/spirtual novel, also in both languages. I wrote and still write articles and columns in various local publications.
Late last year I wrote a 70 page booklet especially for the wondercafe community. The booklet is entitled "The Awakening" and is available for free at my website www.hharlos.com

Gnosticism

Good evening,
I thought Id post this here, rather than on that thread and go completely off topic... I'm great at off topic-ness, lol.
The Church that I am hoping to be ordained with is The Apostolic Johannite Church . They have a church in Calgary, one in Victoria, one in Spain and a few in the states. Quite a few of the clergy are on my message board at The Gnostic Cafe (main site is spiralinard.com)
There is an O.T.O Gnostic Church, as well as an Ecclesia Gnostica (Stephen A Hoeller's Church, I really love his books, especially The Gnostic Jung, and one of my first intros to Gnosticism, Gnosticism: New Light on the Ancient Tradition of Inner Knowing....and a Gnostic Sanctuary with the most dear +Rosamonde Miller... these churches and more have are members of the Gnostic Bishops of North America.
They are not the dualistic world hating heretics that they are stereotyped to be. Nor are they connected to any secret societies etc.
Feel free to check out Spiral Inward, most sections are only visible if you register, but there is still some good reading, (or feel free to register) as well as some good links at the main page at spiralinward.com.
I am by no means an expert, I only started along this path a wee bit of time ago... I just know it's where I want to be. It keeps unfolding and I have renewed my relationship with the Divine.

I'm totally delighted that there are some young people who think outside the box of conventions!

Now now, Hermann... Jane Eyre

Now now, Hermann... Jane Eyre is Pre-hoop Victorian. That project isn't until next year. (Our church turns 160 in 2010 and I'm thinking of making a period dress for the celebration!)
Natural form is more Dracula and Anna Karenina. And it's for pure, crafty, costume-history-hedonistic pleasure.

not to sound creepy or anything, but i find you immensely interesting. i love history, and your life as a "german beggar boy" sounds, well, intriguing. if you could wondermail me, tell me what it was like during the war, that would be so great. please?

Hi Thomasz: Have you read

Hi Thomasz:
Have you read the "Gospel of Thomas" and the other "Gnostic Gospels" by Elaine Pagels? The latest of these Christian Gnostic Gospels is the recently published "Gospel of Judas." It says that Judas (who may actually have been Jesus' brother) knew Jesus' teachings the best. Most interestingly, the Judas of that Gospel defines God as "The Great Self-Generative Spirit" that generated the universe by and out of itself.

Is that a bonne O'bo, like one on the shoulder when encountering a blind emotion? And persona tell us it is a sin to think!
