About Me:

"Well, allow me to introduce myself to you as an advocate of Ornamental Knowledge. ... I like the mind to be a dustbin of scraps of brilliant fabric, odd gems, worthless but fascinating curiosities, tinsel, quaint bits of carving, and a reasonable amount of healthy dirt. Shake the machine and it goes out of order; shake the dustbin and it adjusts itself beautifully to its new position." Robertson Davies, Tempest-Tost

My passion for quotes started back when forums only existed on the Net, and the Web was something spiders made. For the most part, the quote will sum up everything I babbled about but more concisely and intelligently.

I have an irreverent sense of humour, so if you think something I have written is funny and I didn't put a  go ahead and laugh, that is what life should be about anyway. If you are still wondering feel free to wondermail me and ask.

I am a frequent flyer with my local United Church, but I claim no label and prefer to not box myself or anyone else in.

I have two fundamental beliefs. The Golden Rule which has led to Rule Two, a life should be lived in awe of the beauty, man made and natural, found daily.

Glinda: It’s too late. There they are and there they’ll stay. [points to Dorothy's feet]

Wicked Witch of the West: Give me back my slippers! I’m the only one who knows how to use them! They’re no use to you. Give them back to me! Give them back!

Glinda: [to Dorothy] Keep tight inside of them. Their magic must be very powerful or she wouldn’t want them so badly.
