About Me:
Married father of two beautiful children. Began a relationship with God after a spiritual experience in 2000 and I am still journeying, seeking and growing. The Wondercafe has certianly been a source of "miracle grow" in my journey. Pettiness and gossip drove me away from my last church and my family and I are now spiritual nomads seeking once again to become pilgrims.
The concept and practice of social justice is central in my life. But don't confuse me for some raving lefty, I see value in parts of both the left and the right in Christianity and in politics.
The United Church has an unappreciated treasure with quality and quantity of camps they have IMHO. My family attends every summer.
I really enjoy writers like Dianna Butler Bass and Brian McLaren who seem to be less dogmatic and are more concerned about how one puts their faith into practice.
