Raised in a U.C. family, I drifted away for many years. I started a spiritual quest 30 years ago to find answers to some of the important questions of life: What is the meaning and purpose of human life? Why are we here? What is God? I have been doing meditation and a fair bit of reading on other religions, spiritual healing, and progressive Christianity, as well as the Bible. The most recent book I read on this subject was Jesus- a story of enlightenment by Deepak Chopra. I have been fairly involved with the UC over the past 10 years, and I enjoy the feeling of community, the thought provoking sermons and the music. I enjoy discussions on religion, and spiritual matters, and I enjoy Wondercafe.
gardening, horticulture, playing the fiddle and banjo, reading books on spirituality.
